Moving on to applesauce


Robert loved the oatmeal so much he has now moved on to applesauce. Mommy has discovered that making Bobby laugh means she can shove a spoon in his mouth since he is temporarily distracted. Luckily, Bobby is easily amused; however, apparently applesauce is an acquired taste.

Bobby's First Meal

Bobby had his first "solid" food today! His first menu:

* One part powdered oatmeal to five parts water-based formula.

The New York Times' Frank Bruni gave it four stars and called it a "triumph." Robert's criticism was more blunt, however.
